Blue-chip Studios

Privacy Policy

Last updated 28 September 2026

Blue-chip Studios builds and maintains websites for its clients. This policy covers the data our internal reporting tools access through Google APIs. It is deliberately narrow: these tools are used by Blue-chip Studios on websites it owns or manages, and are not offered to the public.

What we access

With the explicit consent of the signed-in Google account, our reporting tool requests two read-only permissions:

Both permissions are read-only. The tool cannot change settings, alter data, or write anything back to Google.

What we do with it

The data is used for one purpose: producing performance reports for the website it came from, shared with the client that website belongs to. It is not used for advertising, not used to build profiles of individuals, not sold, and not shared with any third party.

Google Analytics reports aggregate figures only. We do not receive, request, or store names, email addresses, or any other information identifying individual visitors to a website.

How it is stored

Access credentials are stored on a private server controlled by Blue-chip Studios, in a location outside the public web root, readable only by the system account that runs the reporting tool. Report data is retained only as long as it is useful for period-on-period comparison.

Limited Use

Blue-chip Studios' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Withdrawing access

Access is granted by the Google account holder and can be withdrawn at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking it immediately and permanently stops all further data access. Any stored credentials for that account become unusable at the same moment.

This website

The blue-chipstudios.com homepage uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use it: pages viewed, how visitors arrived, device type, approximate location, and whether the contact form was sent. Google Analytics sets cookies to do this. We do not send it names, email addresses or anything you type into the contact form. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on, and Google's own handling of the data is described in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
